Got Your Gear! Paddleboarding Tutorial

Most people will Grasp the Basics of stand up and paddle (SUP) Quickly. Learn the proper technique’s that are essential in Enjoying this great Sport.
Proper paddle height, paddle technique and Turning tips will increase your speed and stability, Correct paddle technique will also prevent injury.

We will spend some time too on Safety and Self Rescue Techniques and Weather / Risk Assessment which is essential. The Goal is to make you a more confident, Fun and safe paddler!

What to bring
• Your Own Paddle board.
• Paddle, leash and your pump.
• Buoyancy aid is provided and included in your lesson cost If you do not have one.
• Please Bring your own wetsuit if you have it as you know the fit. If you need a wetsuit please notify us in advance.
• Wetsuit booties or old Runners are advisable to protect your feet.
• A towel.

Requirements
Water confidence & the ability to swim unassisted comfortably. All participants Must wear Buoyancy Aid.

Itinerary
The 90 minute session includes all equipment & instruction on technique, tidal / Weather awareness, paddle technique, self rescue & safety , entering and exiting the water safely. Lastly Fun!


SUP Family Fun Max 8 persons

Full Family Watersports fun as you paddle on the Giant SUP or individual Boards Establish how to balance and learn the Basics of Paddle Boarding.

Includes all the gear – wetsuits and Buoyancy aids.

What to bring
• All watersports equipment and wetsuit/buoyancy aid is provided and included in your lesson cost but bring your own wetsuit if you have it as you know the fit will be perfect.
• Wetsuit booties or Old Runners for the Beach.
• Sunscreen is always advisable too

Kids Watersports camp

Summer Water Fun is Back in Skerries.

August: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 4 x Day’s

Times 10am – 12 Pm (8 – 15 Yrs old )

August Day’s 3-6, 10-13, 17-20 &24-27

Skerries North Beach (Location may change due to weather)

Cost €140 Per Child – This covers 4 x Days

What to bring
• A Wetsuit
• A Towel
• Drink & Light snack
• Sunscreen – Pre-applied
• Beach Shoes or Old runner

Requirements
Reasonable ability to swim.
All participants must wear Buoyancy Aids at all times

• Outlying beach and Island Exploring ( weather Dependant )


Sundowner Paddleboarding

Chill Out on a Fully Guided Paddle boarding Tour at the End of the Day. All Equipment and instruction provided by our Awesome Qualified instructor’s.

What to bring
• A wetsuit if you have one – We will supply wetsuits if required.
• Old Runners of beach shoes
• A towel
• Please arrive pre changed into swimsuits as we have no changing Facilities presently, it also saves time.
